  늘, 혹은 때때로

생각나는 사람이 있다는 건

얼마나 생기로운 일인가

늘, 혹은 때때로

보고 싶은 사람이 있다는 건

얼마나 즐거운 일인가

카랑카랑 세상을 떠나는 시간들 속에서

늘, 혹은 때때로

그리워지는 사람이 있다는 건

얼마나 인생다운 일인가

그로 인하여 적적히 비어 있는 이 인생을

가득히 채워가며 살아갈 수 있다는 건

얼마나 고마운 일인가

가까이, 멀리, 때로는 아주 멀리

보이지 않는 그곳에서라도

끊임없이 생각나고 보고 싶고

그리워지는 사람이 있다는 건

얼마나 지금,

내가 아직도 살아 있다는 명확한 확인인가

아, 그러한 네가 있다는 건

얼마나 따사로운 나의 저녁 노을인가
